Here at Innovative FOTO we try to offer a generous benefit package to all of our valuable employees. One of these benefits is to take time off for community service – donating up to 16 “work hours” to a local Non-Profit Organization.

This past Friday our own  Senior Designer & Creative Co-Manager, Jaclyn Smith, used one of her community service days to work with Wolf Hollow in Ipswich, Massachusetts.  Wolf Hollow is a 100% volunteer-operated 501(c)3 non-profit wolf sanctuary who maintains a focus on the preservation of the wolf in the wild through education and exposure.

Jaclyn is a regularly scheduled volunteer on weekends at Wolf Hollow but was asked to come in on this particular day to work with Boston University’s First-Year Student Outreach Project (FYSOP). FYSOP welcomes first-year and transfer students to Boston University and the Greater Boston area before the fall semester begins.

Having teams from FYSOP over three full days really helps us get some bigger jobs done. Painting fences, moving stone, demoing, pruning between the wolf enclosures, even tie dying t-shirts for our upcoming Wolf Stock: Benefit Concert. The FYSOP crew were ready to take on anything! But, before the heavy labor we started each day with a private Wolf Hollow presentation – answer questions and admiring the 7.5 wolves on the property. The “.5” is our Wolf Hybrid, “Bear”.

With the help of FYSOP Wolf Hollow was able to complete upgrades to the grounds for guest, and prep for winter.
